Siding contractors for Vineland homes, one call away
Cracked vinyl, wood that won't hold paint, panels the wind took, or a house ready for new siding? One call puts you through to an independent siding contractor who works in Vineland and the towns around it.
Repairs, replacements and new siding. You speak with an independent local contractor and decide for yourself.

Siding in Vineland
A big city with a lot of owner-occupied houses
Vineland, in Cumberland County, is home to about 62,700 people (Census 2025 estimate). About seven in ten of its roughly 21,600 occupied homes are lived in by their owners (ACS 2020–2024), so a lot of siding decisions here are made by people planning to stay.
The calls this line takes are the ones you would expect: vinyl that has turned brittle and cracked, wood clapboard that needs more paint than it is worth, panels lost in a storm, and owners ready to re-side the whole house in fiber cement, engineered wood or insulated vinyl. Repairs are as welcome as replacements.
How it works
From one call to finished walls
You call
Say where the house is and what is wrong with the siding, or what you want done. You are put through to an independent contractor serving that address.
They look
The contractor looks at the walls, trim and, where they can, what is under the siding, then gives you a written scope and price.
You decide
Nothing is agreed on the phone. If you go ahead, you sign a written contract and have three business days to cancel.
The work
The repair or the new siding goes on as agreed, and the job ends with the site cleaned up.
Materials
Siding by material
- Vinyl SidingLap, Dutch lap and vertical vinyl, hung loose enough to move with the seasons.
- Fiber Cement SidingHeavy, paintable boards cut with dust control and installed to the maker's clearances.
- Engineered Wood SidingLighter than fiber cement, painted like wood, installed to strict edge and clearance rules.
- Wood Clapboard & Cedar ShakeOld clapboard and cedar shingles repaired board by board, or replaced to match.
- Insulated Siding & House WrapFoam-backed panels, the wrap underneath and the flashing that keeps water out.

Repair or replace?
Is it time for new siding?
A contractor can confirm on site, but these signs point one way or the other.
A repair may be enough
- A few cracked or holed panels on otherwise sound siding
- One wall of loose courses after a windstorm
- Rot in a small area, with a clear cause such as a missing flashing
Time to price new siding
- Brittle, chalky or faded vinyl cracking on every wall
- Wood that peels again within a season or two of painting
- Soft sheathing in several places, or water stains inside
- Panels that no longer match anything you can buy
Before you sign
Four New Jersey rules worth knowing
Plain-language summaries, each linked to its source.
- Registration
- Siding contractors are home improvement contractors and must register with the Division of Consumer Affairs (Division page). Search them on the license lookup.
- Written contract
- Above a small minimum price, the contract must be in writing and signed, with the contractor's legal name, address and registration number, its liability insurance certificate and the total price (N.J.S.A. 56:8-151).
- Three business days
- You can cancel for any reason before midnight of the third business day after you receive a copy of the contract, in writing by certified or registered mail or by hand (N.J.S.A. 56:8-151(b)).
- Permits
- New Jersey's construction code treats the repair or replacement of existing siding on one- and two-family homes as ordinary maintenance, which needs no permit, inspection or notice; polypropylene siding is the exception (N.J.A.C. 5:23-2.7(c)).

Questions
What homeowners ask
Who answers when I call?
An independent siding contractor that serves your area, or a referral service that connects you with one. This site employs no installers. The contractor quotes its own price and answers for its own work.
Do I have to hire the contractor I speak with?
No. Ask questions, have the house looked at and take your time. Getting more than one written price on a bigger job is normal.
Can I call about a repair, not a whole house?
Yes. Cracked or loose panels, wind damage and soft wood behind the siding are all reasons to call, as are full re-siding jobs and new siding. See siding repair and repair or replace?
How do I check a contractor in New Jersey?
Home improvement contractors, including siding contractors, must register with the Division of Consumer Affairs (Division page). Search the business on the license lookup or call the Division on 1-800-242-5846.
Can you help with an insurance claim?
No. This site doesn't help with insurance claims or refer claim work. Contact your insurer directly about any claim.
